Struggling

Ok guys I need some major external mojo here.
I am struggling so much keeping my interest in The Dreamer, every stitching is a chore but it has been a UFO for so long I have to stick with it and just finish it. However it us really hard to keep at it.
Ok rant over, back to stitching.

  1. I am having the exact problem with Mythical Muse. I can't figure out the problem because I love the design and I love the colours. I spent more time staring at it last night than stitching. I know that if I put it away, I might not bring it out again. So instead of forcing myself to stitch it, I have decided to do just one thread on her a day. That way she will eventually get done and I don't feel so bad.

  2. Oh, no, I'm so sorry to hear it. I don't know what to say. Usually, when I have mojo problems, I start something new. But I agree with Monique, if you really aren't liking her, do one thread per day, and then stitch on something you enjoy. That way, you'll get her done, and still enjoy your stitching time!

  3. I felt the same thing as I was nearing the end of my most recent project, it sucks!

Like the others have said, you can always do a bit then switch to something else. Keep at it and don't let it become a UFO again, even if you only stitch a small amount, it's all that bit nearer the finish line.

You know you can do it and just think of how amazing it'll look once it's done.

  4. Oh I'm sorry to hear you are struggling with The Dreamer.
I can only echo what the other's have said - maybe when your stitching time arrives you could do just a little bit and then change it for a project you enjoy.

Every little stitch brings you nearer to a finish.

  6. I know that feeling, and I'd probably put it away and take up another UFO. Sometimes it is just a need to stop looking at a particular color. A week or two off won't hurt anything, I hope you find the mojo again.

  7. I'm having the same issue. I read somewhere about switching projects every other, or every second stitching sesssion, so I do that now. So I work on the annoying project one day, then the next day I'll work on something I like, and the day after I'll either work on the annoying one or do it the day after. Then it gets done eventually. :) Good luck!

  8. You can do it! We all know it's hard when you have a piece like this, but every stitch is one stitch less :@
