Year of the Acronym (YOTA)

2013 is going to be my year of the Acronym. What am I talking about?

Well I'm having some trouble getting that all illusive finish. I have some UFO's that really need some love and attention. Therefore one day a month I will show you all some progress on a UFO. It will be a UFO SAL (Unfinished Object stitch a long), hence year of the acronym. I will make it the second Saturday of the month.

My first UFO will be Dimensions Gold Majestic Peacock.

I will add a before and after picture with my first update which will be the 12th Jan 2013. If I finish this one I will then move onto another one.

If anyone is interested in joining me let me know. If there is interest I will create a tab where you can link your blog so all can see your progress. If there isn't interest I will just work away on my own.

Have a Great Day :)

  2. That kit looks beautiful!

i've just started working on a cross stitch I've converted from a photo I took (here's the link to the photo http://yousewshould.blogspot.co.uk/2012/10/photo-conversion-cross-stitch.html) but I think progress will be slow as it's the biggest project I've ever started, (it's a big cross stitch anyway, and the stich size is small) so the more motivation I can get the better!

    Good Luck!

  3. That's a gorgeous idea. I also have two Dimensions Gold UFOs and they could use some love. I would really love to join you! Paris Market is more than ready ;-)
Will you be working on one UFO only for the year or will you change from time to time?

I'm looking forward to see you work on the UFO, it's a beautiful design =)

  5. I will work on one UFO and at a time. If I get one finished I will move on to another. However whatever you wish to do yourself, you can. If you want to switch between projects or work on just one you are free to do so.
