Christmas Ornie Mini

Well you guys must be sick of hearing from me by now :D After finishing Owliver I started a new mini, as still not up to working on my larger projects. I decided that this year I wanted to try an give a number of people in my life a Christmas Ornament. I had wanted to do it last year but knew I wouldn't have the time. To that end I started nice and early as I have a fair number that I would like to give.

So here is the first of what will hopefully be many to come. This is from the Just Cross Stitch Christmas Ornament 2013 issue.

Be Jolly by Angel Stitchin - Just Cross Stitch Ornament Issue 2013
This pattern is all full cross stitches only, no back stitching or partial stitches, so it's nice and easy. I just have his beard left to do. It is stitched on what I thought was 32ct but now I think is 28ct evenweave from a Polstitches grab bag. It is an antique white/ivory colour. Stitched 2 over 2 all DMC threads.

As I really love so many of the Just Cross Stitch patterns you will probably be seeing many projects from them on my blog in the future. As well as getting my digital subscription, which included the issues from the two previous years I also purchased the 10 years of Just Cross Stitch CD. So many patterns, more than I can possibly ever stitch but I'm looking forward doing whatever ones I can :)

  4. That's so kind of you to gift to as many people you want to:) I am a bit selfish in gifting created things, maybe, because I just started creating things from last one year and want to create for my new house first. Then after that I will start creating for others:)
