WooooooHoooooo
My very first YOTA finish, Majestic Peacock is all done! It has been a long time in getting this finished. There is a lot of French knots in this one, they were fine once I got into a rhythm with it. I did find the couching a little difficult, it was the first time I used that technique.
Just needs to be washed and ironed now before framing :)

Gaaaaah I love this piece. You did a beautiful job on it, and nice work with the french knots, too! When you have a ton of them to do you do get into a kind of rhythm. Beautiful!

ReplyDeleteI saw french knots and nearly died and then say "lots of french knots" and really died! I hate french knots with a passion. SO coudos for sticking with it ;) Lord knows I'd have burned it when I got the french knot part haha.
