Some of my readers may know that I have been trying to design some of my own patterns. I did a Mario and Yoshi one, posted
here and I have also designed another pattern from a game called Portal. This is a very fun game, however unfortunately I have yet to manage to finish it as the first person makes me feel sick :s
Anyway there are little picture instructions throughout the game and many of them are quite fun. So I decided to design and stitch one of them and here is the result:

This one means that a block can be dispensed to help solve the puzzle in that level of the game. This is quite a small piece and is all black as you can see.
I would love to hear your thoughts on this as it is only the second chart I have designed. I would especially love to hear what people who have played the game think :)
I'd never heard of Portal so the children and I just gave it a go and had fun getting to level 15 quite quickly. Goodness knows how much further we have to progress before coming across this symbol!!

ReplyDeleteI love playing Portal (especially Portal 2 - 2 player mode) but I am so awful at hand-eye coordination!
