Hey everyone and welcome to a month of Mini's. Thanks so much to all those who have joined in. We have 22 stitchers, including myself, taking part. I only got around to adding the last stitcher today to the list, but they had told me of there desire to join before the deadline, but had problems submitting a link.
So I see some people have already made their first post which is great! I look forward to reading them. Please do remember to all those participating that only those who post once a week for the 5 weeks, including his one, will be eligible for the voucher draw.
Here is our list of people with blogs who are participating, do make sure you check out their progress.
Here is my first mini of the month:

Snowflake - Just Cross Stitch Ornament ED 2011 - SamSarah Design Studios |
This is going to hopefully be an ornament gift for someone. As I didn't have any of the colours charted and I didn't want to use plain DMC, so I changed the colours to variegated DMC and will list them when this piece is finished. So excited about our month of Mini's, good luck to everyone participating :)
I can't participate as I don't have a blog, but I will be cyber-cheering you all on!
ReplyDeleteYour list gave me a lot of new blogs to follow:)
Oh lovely start there! I started off last night with a stitchery on a bag for my little one :) Will post pics of stitching on Saturdays!
ReplyDeleteThanks for getting me in at the last minute. Is there a certain day of the week you would like us to post? I plan to post each Friday.

ReplyDeleteVery cute start. I'll probably find all sorts of new smalls that I want to start by participating in the SAL.
ReplyDeleteI love adding variegated threads to all the other ones whenever I can, he's going to be cute when finished!

Sweet start xx
ReplyDeleteBeautiful new start!
ReplyDeleteHave fun everyone! :)
ReplyDeleteOoh, I like the variegated effect on that, can't wait to see what it looks like when finished.
ReplyDeleteI don't know if I can still join for the month, but even if I'm not on the official list, I plan on participating. Best of luck to everyone!
ReplyDeleteTyler, you are very welcome to stitch along with our Mini month. However, unfortunately I will not be able to include you in the voucher giveaway as the rules are a post a week in Oct including last week. I feel it would be unfair to the others involved if I added people after the closing date. I hope you can understand :)
ReplyDeleteOf course! I'm just excited to be involved with a new group of stitchers!
ReplyDeleteI hope I'm not stepping on any toes, but I was thinking it would be fun to make up a collage of everyone's progress from week 1 to make up into a banner/button for the challenge. I have a new graphic editing program I'm experimenting with and looking for projects to practice on. Would you be okay with that?
ReplyDeleteHey Alyssa, that sounds like a great idea. I keep meaning to learn to make those link buttons but never seem to get around to it. I would just like to check with the other participants as it would be made up of their work. I will be posting later so I can put it to them then. All toes present and accounted for :D
ReplyDeleteSounds great, thanks!
ReplyDeleteGood luck stunners I will be cheering you all on! xo Alicia
