As I stitched all the black outline on QS Clara first I have been slowly filling in the colour section by section. This means that I am not really working by page. I do however try and finish off pages just so that I can have the little finish. I have been very close to the finishing page 5 for a while now and decided I would settle down and finish it.
So here she is:

HAED - QS Clara |
I have now moved on to filling in page 4, finishing off the top of the bottle and making a start on some of her hair. Apologies for all the parked threads the hair is quite confetti heavy. I now have just page 4 to finish and the 3 partial pages at the bottom.
So sweet x
ReplyDeleteGreat going!! I'm loving the idea of using a hair clip to keep the parked threads "tamed"!! Very clever!!
ReplyDeleteClara is looking lovely x
ReplyDeleteLooking great! Well done :)
ReplyDeleteShe's looking fantastic! I love how the parked threads make it look like her hair is flowing right off the page;)
ReplyDeleteI agree with Annie. ;) It looks great!
ReplyDeleteI love Annie's comment, because those threads do make it look like some sort of mixed-media art piece.
ReplyDeleteI love these QSs - I would never do one (not my style), but I just love watching them come to life when others post photos.
Great job!
Love this stitch. Parking looks helpful, but so intimidating! You make it look so simple and pretty!
ReplyDeleteYou're doing a wonderful job :-) Love all the colors.
ReplyDeleteThe clips really give her the appearance of having braids that are emerging from the page.
ReplyDeleteClara is looking great.
ReplyDeleteLinda
Clara is coming along well.I love the colours.
ReplyDeleteShe is looking very pretty:)
ReplyDeleteShe is adorable!!! The HAED photgraph mock up does not do her justice.
ReplyDeleteShe is looking very pretty!
ReplyDeleteYou have gotten a lot done on Clara. Great job!
ReplyDeleteShe's looking great, I managed all the black on mine, but I've managed hardly any colouring in so far!
ReplyDeleteGreat progress. I am still amazed that you can keep track of all those threads.
ReplyDeleteShe's beautiful! I do like watching the gaps being filled in - it's just like colour-by-number but A LOT more complicated! Good luck with trying to get a page finish! :)
ReplyDeleteShe's so gorgeous! Well done :)
ReplyDeletewow -- you have such patience. I'd go nuts in a HAED -- I just can't work up the stamina to be a confetti girl.
ReplyDeleteShe is looking amazing!
ReplyDeleteFabulous! Love her hair with the parked threads jumping right off the page.
