The Reign of the Mini Continues

I am still currently working on mini projects. I am finding them a really nice change from my large WIPs as I am getting some finishes, which gives me a sense of accomplishment. I'm not sure how long I will continue with the small patterns but I am happy to at least be cross stitching.

Here is the pattern I am working on at the moment:

Sweet Treats - Cupcake of the Month - The World of Cross Stitching Issue 192
I really like this piece as it is lovely and summery. I also have another mini that is close to a finish, however it doesn't look quite right so I will see if I can adjust it and will post it when it is complete.

  2. Haha, I know what you mean. I feel the same way these days, so I started stitching and ornament and I am nearly done with it. It's a nice change to our huge never ending projects ;-)
You mini project looks great so far :)

  3. Looks great and I know what you mean...my problem is I can't stop doing the large projects long enough to do a small one! I had planned to do that this past weekend but it just didn't happen.

  5. Nice to have some finishes every once in a while! I've bee squinting at this one for a while but I can't make out the cupcake. Don't forget to post a photo when it's finished!

  7. Great progress so far! I like the small and mini charts, too, and the sense of accomplishment they give you when stitched in just a short while.

  9. The colours are very summery. I would even go so far to say that they look breezy. It's all stitching no matter what so it's great!!!
