Here she is as of last month's check in and still is:
Dimensions Gold - Elegance of the Orient |
HAP SAL - Bridge of Wings Post
Lunch Time Mini Project Post
In the last week there were a number of days when I was really excited by the idea of going home and settling down for an eveing of stitching. I would get all my supplies together and fully intent on making some progress. After a few minutes I would find that I just wasn't enjoying the process and would have to put it down again. Unfortunately this means that I have nothing new to show you all today but hopefully my creativity will be back on track soon.
In the meantime head to the YOTA page on the top right of this blog and check out how the others are doing.
Your stitching mojo will come back, sometimes we need a break.

Oh, I've had times like that, too. I usually read a book for a few nights and then tell myself I only have to stitch for 15 minutes. Usually I get back in the groove and stitch longer, but sometimes I end up having to start a new piece ... : )

Hope your stitchy bug returns soon. Your geisha is looking really good....even though you didn't manage any stitching on her! :) Dare I say it, but maybe a new project to get your mojo back again?!! (I'm such an enabler!!)
ReplyDeleteI guess we all have our days/weeks where I can't seem to focus on stitching and I am very confident it will get better again =) So don't worry about it to much =) There will surely be a bunch of progress to show next month =)
ReplyDeleteMojos come and mojos go and yours is obviously on leave at the moment. I do hope it comes back soon as I love watching your progress. :)
ReplyDeleteI've been there too. It will return.

I hope your mojo comes back soon too! Elegance is such a beautiful project. That said, perhaps you need something new to stitch on?!
ReplyDelete:) I only worked 1 of 4 of my intended projects, like you I wasn't feeling it. Let's see how next month goes and hope your stitchy bug comes back for this one.
ReplyDeleteShe is beautiful! Sometimes one needs to put a project away for a while. I do that quite a bit. She will come back to you.
ReplyDeleteThat happens to us all, you just need a break, I move on to doing other crafts till the cross stitch bug comes back :) it will be back :)
ReplyDeleteI think we've all been there :)
ReplyDeleteStart a new piece? :D
Don't feel too disappointed about not finishing it, putting pressure on only make the bug go wandering!
ReplyDeleteI hope that you manage to tempt the bug back with something crafty very soon!
I'm sorry you've lost your mojo :-( That's no fun. It will find it's way back soon, I hope.
ReplyDeleteI get like that sometimes too, I can tell because I spend more time playing Candy Crush or Secret Society than actually stitching! Even though my stitching is out.
ReplyDeleteI feel ya, but luckily, it usually passes...good luck!
ReplyDeleteI blame it on the weather. We're all waiting for spring to come.
ReplyDeleteIt will come back! In the meantime, enjoy other things in life, like hot chocolate and good movies.
ReplyDeleteThere are many nights I come home planning to stitch but instead I find myself staring at Facebook.
ReplyDeleteYep, been there too! Sometimes other things need love too.
ReplyDeleteIt happens to all of us. Hopefully your groove will come back soon!!
