Small Finish

I got this little kit free with The World of Cross Stitch issue 188.

It reminded me so much of the very first little cross stitch that I did and I fell in love with it. I have to travel on the bus to and from work on certain days and I was finding it too difficult to manage larger cross stitching frame on the bus and therefore could not work on my current rotation piece.

I decided to work on this little piece and got it finished fairly quickly. I love it, however there was supposed to be a heart on the door but I stitched it just blue as the door to my house is blue. Also there were supposed to be french knots on it but I preferred it without them.

So here it is:

  2. That looks lovely!

I agree with Ewa, french knots are such a pain! I often use seed beads instead if I can!

Have you got another mini project in mid for the bus?

Funny thing, I actually like French Knots! I'd trade them for back stitching any day!
