Will be smiling for about a year!!!

When I saw that I had been picked for the Liebster award the smile on my face nearly crack it. I was so excited I just couldn't wait until my other half can home. I always hope that people would find what I do interesting but I never thought I would be choosen for this. Am so delighted.

Miamina at Miamina's Musings very kindly awarded me the Liebster Award, these are the details and the requirements that are attached to it:

Liebster is a German word, meaning favorite, dearest or beloved, and the Liebster is awarded by bloggers to other, newer bloggers who have fewer than 200 followers, to spread the word and help the new(er)bies gain wider recognition. The award comes with four conditions that each recipient must satisfy when accepting:

1. Choose five up-and-coming blogs (with fewer than 200 followers) to award the Liebster to.

2. Show your thanks to the blogger who gave you the award by linking back to them.

3. Post the award on your blog. List the bloggers you are giving the award to with links to their sites. Leave comments on their blogs so they know about the award.

4. Share five random facts about yourself that people don't know about you.

1. Sharine's blog Charbella Stitching She is a beautiful stitcher and I love seeing her progress updates especially on HAED Fairy Tales

2. Next is Lasting Allure which again has some lovely examples of stitching especially a recently complete Mirabilia mermaid. I can not wait to see her progress on her first HAED

3. Sarah at Lost in Stitches is next.  Her projects are really pretty and I love to see her conversions, as I don't have the guts to deviate from the chart but maybe one day. I really enjoy reading her updates.

4. Next up is Cross Stitch W.I.P. this is a lady tackling an absolutely amazing number of HAED charts. I love seeing her updates and especially love her progress on Dryad.

5. Gems at Stitching Gems has some really pretty WIP's going. One of the main reasons I really like this blog is the number of progress pics she includes. I love watching as her projects come together.

Now for the 5 facts about myself that people don't know:

1.  Cross stitch was the first craft I ever got into when I was in my teens. I then stopped for a number of years and have recently gotten back into the cross stitch flow.

2. I am a stash manic, I keep buying craft items especially when they are on offer. I had to stop watching the create and craft TV show.

3. I have tried a large number of crafts including spinning yarn, knitting, crochet, dress-making, cross stitch, card making, papercrafting. I would also love to try doll house crafting, working with leather, cake decorating. Maybe some day I will get round to all of them.

4. When I was small I got a Jean Greenhowe knit toys leftlet and I remember looking through it all the time wishing I could make something from it. I recently found it again online and bought it. However I still haven't managed to pluck up the courage to make something. THIS is the one I had and now have again. Every time I look through it I smile.

5. Myself and my OH recently celebrated 10 years together.
