I have been finding it very hard to work on Elegance of the Orient lately, even though I really want to
get it done. That is probably exactly the problem though, as soon as I feel under pressure to do something I don't want to do it.
I did manage to get a little bit done and while it isn't much I thought I would post a picture anyway.

Dimensions Gold - Elegance of the Orient |
I have managed to get a bit of the dress between the pink/yellow underskirt and the blue Kimono done (I hope I described that correctly) and also some of her shawl. I feel really bad about this one because it is for my mother but I can't get back into doing it and my stitching mojo is failing me fast as it is at the moment.
Have a great day :)
Hello
ReplyDeleteJust found your blog.
Your Oriental Lady is lovely - I hope you find your mojo soon and enjoy finishing her.
You're doing great!
ReplyDeleteI also get like that at the end of a project. I want it finished so much, that I actually don't want to stitch on it anymore.
ReplyDeleteOh it looks lovely so far, perhaps do a few stitches in another project and you might get your mojo back :)
ReplyDeleteShe's looking great! You've got so much more of her done than I do. I'm finding that the thread in the kit isn't the best quality and is fraying quite a bit and that really puts me off stitching her. Hope you get your mojo back soon!
ReplyDeleteI love this geisha girl! She's coming along beautifully! I hope the mojo comes back to you!
ReplyDeleteIt's coming along beautifully. How about stitching on her when you're chatting with your mom? That way, you won't notice the stitching time and it'll go by quickly.
ReplyDeleteI am, of course making the assumption that your mom doesn't live with you. LOL!
