......I had to take a couple of days breather. So while taking my little break I decided to do some work on Clara. I am still trying to figure out the best way to tackle the colouring in on this and Oliana.

HAED - QS Clara |
This is the colour on a bit over half of page 1. I am really enjoying seeing her come together. I don't know now whether to continue on and finish the black or to finish the last three partial pages using my usual 10x10 block method. I suppose it will depend on how well I manage to tackle the outlining I have done already.
I am having to be very, very strict with myself and not start anything
new. It is very difficult to resist that itch, but so far I have managed
it.
Have a great day :)
The coloring looks fantastic =)
ReplyDeleteJust like a coloring in book. Love that pattern:)
ReplyDeleteI am not sure I could have stitched all that black, but as it's not in huge blocks it might have been easier. Do like the way it looks with the outlines and some color. Startitis has hit here big time also. I am trying to convince myself that ornaments are great new starts, but I am slowly losing that battle.
ReplyDeleteClara's gorgeous, makes me want to work on mine again, I did her similar to you, all black, and now she's waiting to be coloured in. Lovely!
ReplyDeleteShe looks amazing.
ReplyDeleteShe's really coming along nicely. I love doing the obvious bits first (in your case, the black) and then filling in the rest. I find it makes it so much easier.
ReplyDeleteAs someone who only works on one pattern at a time, let me just say that you can do it!!! Just work on this one, and you will be blown away how quickly she appears on your fabric!
Best of luck. I can't wait to see more of her appear. So far her colors are beautiful!
She's looking great!
ReplyDeleteShe's looking great! I don't think I would have had the patience to do all that black....but it's probably easier to stitch it like that.
ReplyDeleteStarting a new project is so much fun....hope you can manage to resist!
