I have been feeling super happy with that fact that I have been using things in my stash and working on projects that have been sitting idle for a long time. So much so that it has spread into my other past times. I started a knitted cardigan, in a previous post, with yarn and a pattern I have had for years! I have stopped buying books on top of books and am trying to get around to reading what I have. I have also stopped buying other craft materials including magazines. I am hoping to get some dressmaking done using some fabric and patterns I have at home and I am planning a large craft clear out at some point.
Great progress on Peacock and Autumn. You took the words right out of my mouth about this stash budgeting and finding it has spilled into other parts of life. I've stopped buying more books until I can read through all the ones I have. Congrats for keeping to the budget! Me, not so good!

Congratulations on your 0 spending month. I've done the same as you, really started looking at what I have available for all my craft projects. I will say I have not stopped buying books, but I have put myself on a budget for those.
ReplyDeletePeacock is looking great.
Beautiful stitching! Its great that you've kept to a $0 budget and have focused on using up the materials you have on hand. The YOTA idea has really helped push me to finish up old projects. Thank you!

Wow you're amazing. Nil spend that's just incredible in itself. Good luck with finishing Majestic Peacock. It's stunning, and you know how much I love Autumn.
ReplyDeleteI love that you are extrapolating this to other areas of your life. It's a philosophy I may have to look into it. LOL!
