IHSW - Fail

Well ladies and gentlemen, not one stitch did I manage over the weekend of IHSW. I don't know why but I just wasn't in a stitching place. I did manage to get some housework done though, which is something I suppose. However I know you all just love pictures so here is where I am with the back stitching on Majestic Peacock.

Sorry for the poor quality of the picture. I am hoping to get more done on this so I will have something different to show you all for YOTA. I love how the back stitching is making the arch look more detailed. Hope you all had a better IHSW than I did :)

    I love looking at this piece and how it goes off into the distance.
    I have had IHSW like yours,just not able to settle to some stitching :(

    Sorry you didn't manage to put one stitch on it during IHSW but your proect is gorgeous and the backstitch definitely makes the difference :)

    It happens to all of us when housework gets in the way of our stitching. It's such a beautiful design though and I'm glad you are finishing it :D

    Your Majestic Peacock is looking fab and I can't wait to see it finished. My sister stitched this a few years ago but never enjoyed it because of the differing number of strands used which give it that 3D effect. Good luck with putting in the last stitches.

    ho my ! at the end of this piece you should show us a summary of the different stages in pictures !
    the difference is so incredible each time
    indeed the backstitching is very important on such a design...
    enjoy (and don't worry there are periods when we can't do anything ! the most important thing is that the piece doesn't end into the fire :D )
