Last Week of MMMM

Well I hope everyone enjoyed participating in our month of Mini's. I had lots of fun, though I do wish that I had managed more than I did. I do have another finish for you all today though:

Trick or Treat - Barb Cooley, Plum Pudding NeedleArt - Just Cross Stitch Halloween Edition 2013
I decided to change the colours of the moon to DMC Glow in the Dark and DMC 168 light grey. I'm really happy with the result on this one. I have started another mini and maybe, just maybe I might get it finished before Friday.

Also there was some interest by some of the participants to continue on with the SAL, however as I would only host a SAL I was able to participate in I am unable to continue this into November. I really want to get the Bunnies finished and also make some progress on Elegance. However Justine over at Justine's Cross Stitch agreed to taking up the mantle, as it were, and host it next month if there is sufficient interest. If you would like to join in on this SAL for November please head over and let her know.

  3. The finish is lovely and works well with the new colours in the moon - more spooky! Thank you for introducing us to MMMM and good luck to Justine for November. I'll be able to join in some time next year... if it's still doing its round then. :)

  5. Congrats on a successful sal. Good luck on your final mini. I was surprised by all of the halloween minis I saw I was sure there were going to be a lot more Christmas ornaments. Good luck Justine!

  7. I stitched this design last year and what a clever idea to swap the colours for the moon :)
I really think the change was for the best, Halloween designs have to glow a little :)

  8. I love your finish! :) Well done. I may have to pass on next month as, like you, I have a few things I'd like to work on. Thank you for hosting this though! I don't usually do smalls but this was a tonne of fun!

  9. Very cute finish. I may have to pull that issue out and see if I have everything to stitch it. I am thinking of trying for one more finish but I am happy with the two that I managed so won't be too upset if I don't more.

    Thanks for hosting the SAL!!

  10. Yay to another finish! Congrats!! I think the goal was to work on smalls, not just finish smalls, that's what I'm going with anyway! ;)

  14. It's a lovely finish!! I enjoyed your SAL as it made me pull out my smaller projects which otherwise were usually lost in the pile of big projects.
    Thanks for hosting !!

  16. And I'm here to double comment to thank you for hosting this SAL - I usually don't stitch tiny things, and this got me motivated to work on things I might have never gotten around to despite best intentions! :)
