Anyone seen my mojo?

Well my stitching mojo has left me to join the circus! I'm not sure what is happening with my stitching lately but it seems to have slowed almost to a stand still. I did manage to get one of the little chicks on my bunnies done and made a start on the other but I'm getting no joy from my stitching at the moment.

I may have to try a different craft for a little while and see if that will coax it to come back. I hope my readers won't mind too much if I post on some things other than stitching for a little while. If you would rather that this blog stuck with cross stitching only then let me know in the comments.

Hope everyone is having a great day :)

Edit: I have changed the title of this post from Mojo, Mojo. Wherefore art thu Mojo?, because that quote apparently doesn't mean what I thought it did. Clearly I need to re-read Romeo and Juliet :) Wherefore art thou doesn't mean where are you but why are you. Bet you are all regretting my deviation from stitching now :D

  1. Write about whatever suits you! By the way, I know you want to get those bunnies done but it might be a good time to start a new project. Something exciting to get the mojo flowing again.

  2. It's your blog, write about whatever you want :)
I'm thinking like Kaelyn, maybe a new small start could tempt mojo to come back!

  7. when I get a mojo loss I either go to something else like crochet (my first love) or I start something new but not too big so I can see a finish, if it still doesn't work I leave it alone and read a lot!
Write about whatever you like, it is your space!!

  9. Sorry to hear your MOJO is MIA. Mine tends to do that from time to time. It's always fun to see other projects too!
I've got a paint by number going right now and I occasionally post updates on that one too. :-)

  11. I hope your mojo comes back very soon, but by all means show you other crafting skills on here...it's your blog after all, you post whatever you want. I don't really do any other crafting so I will look and be jealous!

  13. When my mojo goes walkabout, I just go with it (and whine on my blog about how I'm not stitching) and do whatever else feels right. I do still keep a project out and follow my rotation but if I stitch, I stitch, if not, I knit or read or papercraft or something else.

  14. Nobody likes their mojo going AWOL but it's just a body's way of saying it needs a short break. Hopefully yours will have a good wander and return soon refreshed and raring to go. Maybe it'll even tell you where it's been! :)

  15. If you need a stitch break, take one. You'll appreciate it all the more when you start again. In the meantime, anything you want to post on is fine.

  16. Don't worry, it happens to everyone some or the other time . It will return soon :) Enjoy what you are doing now, even if it is being lazying around or watching TV, don't feel bad about wasting time and not stitching.

  17. You stich because you love it and enjoy it and it should soothe you. If you're not enjoying it...then just dont do it! I stopped stitching for months during 2013 and then ....one morning I just felt I needed to stitch and I'm back to loving it :) Don't feel guilty about not wanting to stitch! Read...bake....do whatever brings you joy :) And come tell us!!

  23. It must be the "off" year, as i can relate to a bad stitching slump. Last year stitched up a storm. This year has been a disaster.... I hope your stitching bug returns soon.

  24. Your mojo is just misguided for a little while; it'll come back eventually! I think you should write about whatever you feel like! Although crafty things are a large part of our lives, there's more out there than stitchy stuff and it can be just as amazing. :D

  25. It's all good, it comes and it goes, or that's what happens to me. Right now I think I'm in the middle, I want to stitch but can only do a little bit before I put my stitching down again. Oh well.
