Wow so amazing and inspiring

My wonderful other half sent me an email with this link in it. It has a whole list of some of the most amazing images I have ever seen. It even made me cry a little.

Here it is: LINK

Hope you find this as wonderful as I did.

Amendment: This has inspired me to do something nice for one of my blog readers. I would like to RAK a .pdf download of a HAED chart of your choice, up to the value of $19. All you have to do is leave me a comment on this post, tell me what you thought of the above link. If you would like to e-mail rather than comment you can do that instead on: pulltheotherthread@gmail.com. You do not have to be a follower to be in with a chance.

I will select a random reader on the 9th July so I will leave it open until the 8th July.

  1. So yes I am crying - I am not sure what touched me most the first picture with the wonderful Christians at the parade, the Athlete helping the competitor over the finish line - the Subway free meal for homeless - or maybe the dry cleaner - it is just so hard to decide, my goodness I am rambling. I will watch these pictures more than once

  2. Well I have just cried a bucket of tears. While all of the photos were beautiful and tugged at my heartstings, numbers 13, 14, and 20 touched me the most on a very personal level. It is wonderful to think that there are people out there that understand that pets are not just animals. They are furbabies, and have a huge place inour hearts. It is reassuring to think that others recognize this and would care for these animals as I would care for my own beloved dog. Sometimes people really are good.

  4. Oh my - so hard to choose - each one I saw touched me a little more - I think the one that touched me most was the book store - I am an avid reader and the thought of not being able to afford a book to read and someone letting me have one for free is inspiring!

  7. Absolutely LOVED the link. It's great to see that there are some really good people doing ordinary but amazing things. The toddler on the swing reminds me so much of my daughter and how she was (and still is ) with animals. Great post - thank you so much for sharing this with us.

  9. With all the bad things that happen in the world it's very easy to think that humanity is a lost cause. It's the small, personal things that have a huge effect and really make the difference.

I was really touched by the instances of businesses reaching out to those less fortunate by offering free services, food and books to help them out.

The people who put themselves in harm's way to rescue pets are true heroes. Pets are more than just animals, they are companions and often they are all people have.

I was touched by the athlete, when they are taught to win at all costs, it takes a good person to stop and help. It is often seen in cycling though that others stop and help if someone is injured and help them get to the finish line.

I think the pictures that hit me the hardest were the first ones. Admitting that you were wrong and going against an institution such as the church is a big thing and takes a strong person to admit they were wrong.

    Thank you for sharing!

  11. I started out with chills and ended up in tears! So many touching moments caught on film. (Not sure why the one about Snookie is in there, but I love that 92% don't care what she names her baby! I guess maybe that's why it's in there;)
The one that really got to me was of the firefighter giving oxygen to the kitty. When I was a kid the house across the street from us had a horrible fire and the firemen brought the poor little kitties that didn't make it out one by one and lined them up on the sidewalk. It was 40 years ago and it still makes me cry.
Thanks so much for sharing this, and also for the contest. Very generous of you!

  12. What a great link...I think the one that got me the most was the runner helping her competitor to the finish line...so often competitive spirit is lost in the desire to win, its nice to see that's not always the case.
Thank you for the give-away, and for giving me something to smile about for the rest of the day!

    /hugs,
    Nikki
