YOTA - First Post

Yippee, it's finally YOTA time. I have been so looking forward to this SAL and I can't wait to see everyone's progress. I haven't had as much stitching time as I would have liked but I did manage to get some done on Majestic Peacock.

This one has a mix of full cross stitches and half stitches. There are a number of blended colours and any stitch type used can contain anything from 1-6 strands of thread so it can be quite challenging at times but I really love the effect. The goal is to use YOTA to try and get this neglected UFO finished this year.

Here is the before:

I have only done work on the bottom pillars and water but progress, is progress so I'm not going to complain.

This is all you will see of this one until the first Saturday of next month. Please do click on the YOTA tab at the top and check out what the others are up to. There have been some amazing updates already.

  1. Looks beautiful! For all my complicated projects I could not make myself do a piece with a lot of blending and partial stitches so grats to you on your push for a finish with this one.
