That is what I keep saying to myself about Jacek Yerka's Autumn. I managed to get a couple of lengths of thread into this, this month, but in a HAED that is tiny progress. However as the title says every stitch counts and this makes it about 100 or so less stitches to stitch which is something I suppose.
In case you are wondering what exactly has changed, it's that brown blob at the bottom right. Please check out my SAL partner on this Spices up your Life! whose progress on this is just amazing and makes me so excited about working on this more in 2014.
I am in AWE and greatly impressed by anyone stitching a piece by HAED. I have one here all kitted up and ready to stitch, but I keep chickening out after some very small starts over the past couple of years!! I think your project looks wonderful so far. Love the colors and can't wait to see how it develops as you continue with stitching. Best wishes on this stitching journey! Kevin
ReplyDeleteIt's true! every small progress is a progress ;) But doing such a huge project??? I think that's a lot done :D
ReplyDeleteI'm the same as Kevin really :) I too have started 2 Haed designs & I found them a bit too much for me!
ReplyDeleteI just repeat your words: every stitch counts! It reflects how much work involved in this. You're doing a great job :D
ReplyDeleteFor me it's the journey not the destination, so I'm always happy to put any stitches in. Hadn't noticed before, but love the sparkly clips.
ReplyDeleteYep every stitch counts. Looks great.
ReplyDeletesure it does =)
ReplyDeletea stitch is a stitch and on such a project it's even more true =)
happy stitching
xxxx
Exactly, 100 stitches done is progress. You girls are going great guns on this chart. Good luck for 2014.
