First IHSW of 2014

I have to admit I really did need a hermitting weekend this week. I was therefore delighted when I managed to get it, with my OH taking care of all the chores that needed to be done so I could get some much needed alone time. Thanks to all the lovely comments on my last post, you spurred me on to continue working on Autumn. I know that my SAL post date for Autumn is the 15th but it is all I worked on over the weekend and I will have more to show you by the next post date I promise.

So here we are before:

HAED - Autumn - as at the 16th Jan 2014
And after:

HAED - Autumn - as at the 20th Jan 2014
I am so delighted with the progress I managed over the weekend, I actually was really enjoying stitching it! So thank you again to all those who gave me encouragement on my last post not to give up.

  5. Wow you got a lot done over the weekend. It looks beautiful stunner. I was re-reading your email tonight where you kindly took the time to describe your parking method, and looking at this wip I can really see how you do it. It makes more sense to me now and I think it's a wickedly cool way to park. I'm struggling with a confetti heavy HAED wip atm so I read your email for inspiration. I'm going to tackle it this way. Thank you so much for helping me out.

And thank you for finding your love for Autumn again. I would really miss your this masterpiece of yours if you threw it into the fire (NOOOOO!!)
