My First Autumn SAL post of 2014

Well here we are again it's Autumn SAL post time. This piece is turning into pure torture for me at the moment. I just don't seem to be able to get anywhere with it. Of course the fact that life is kind of crazy at the moment isn't helping. I sit down, put in a few hours and feel like I'm beating my head against the wall.

Spices up Your Life! is doing amazingly well on this one and is flying through it, so please check out her blog. I really don't know how she is managing to get so much of this done :)

Anyway you're here for the pictures, so here it is:

HAED - Jacek Yerka Autumn
I have managed to get the first half of this page done, which is page 10. I am REALLY hoping I start getting some real progress on this one soon, because if I don't I may throw it in the fire!! I'm going to work on this for the next week before I switch over to Majestic Peacock.

  1. Don't give up, this is such a great design!!! You are so brave to stitching a HAED. I tried & failed miserably... the confetti is driving me insane! :) You stitched a lot already & I'm looking forward to see your progress on this. Take care xxx

  5. Hey, honestly, there are many times I wanted to throw it away too, way too many symbols in such a tiny block! And what I am seeing is just root and root and root and root...But I am glad I have you accompany this SAL, which encourages me so much. Please let me do the same thing too :D Maybe you can start at somewhere else, there is no need to stick with the old starting point right? it's 'new year' anw! Cheers!

  6. I know the feeling. :(
But please don't give up! Sometimes you just have to stick with it and then it starts to go real smooth.
By the way, it's a gorgeous design.

  11. I know that feeling all too well and my pieces don't have any where near the color changes yours does. One stitch in is one stitch closer to finished.

  13. I completely understand how you feel, I am struggling with my current page of an HAED design and have been working on it for 4 months now, the page is nothing but colour/ confetti and its so disheartening, but I know once I do complete the page I will continue with the rest.

Dont give up - it will be worth it in the end :)
