It began in October of last year and the first few classes were learning some basic techniques. It is a very involved class and from the very start we were working with tools and metals. After the initial practice sessions were complete we were allowed to create our own piece.
I absolutely loved this course so I decided to do the second session after Christmas as well. This entails mostly working on my own projects, with some help and input from the instructor. I have fallen in love with working with silver wire, I'm a big fan of silver. So today I wanted to share with you a small pendant I made.

ReplyDeleteI went on a jewellery-making course and actually managed to drag my husband along with me. It was great fun and since then I've become addicted (he hasn't!) I find myself going online looking for fancy beads and clasps. I find it has made Christmases and birthdays so much easier as I just make something and I think it is so much more personal.
