Boofle Mini Finish

I started this little mini Boofle ages ago and just stitched little bits and pieces on it. I decided, as there was only a little bit left, that I would finish it off last night and get it out of my WIP list.

Here he is:

Boofle Christmas Card Chart - Freebie from The World of Cross Stitch
This little piece uses both satin thread and some metallic type thread both of which I hate working with. If I was to do this one over I would use just a plain replacement for the satin and I would also only use 1 strand of the metallic instead of two.

This was a freebie pattern which came with a copy of The World of Cross Stitch. It is stitched 2 over 2 on 28ct evenweave from a grab bag by Polstitches I think, though I'm not 100% sure.

It is another possible Christmas ornie finished. I want to get a few more mini projects done and I was think of having a Mega Mini Month where I would work exclusively on mini projects for 1 month and see how many I could do. If anyone wants to join, contact me :) I will probably do it for October, as I want to get some done for Christmas.

  1. Oh I like!! Both the Boofle as well as the idea of a Mega Mini Month! I could do with one of those :)

  2. Boofle is so cute and will look great as an ornament.
I love your idea of Mega Mini Month as there must be loads of unfinished little projects hanging around in stitch-land and this will definitely be an incentive for you and others to concentrate on and finish them. But I won't be joining you - all of my mini projects (except the one I'm working on) are saved up for DUCJC. Maybe this time next year I'll have need to join you though!!! :)

  3. Congrats on the cute finish. I would love to join you but I have way to many other things on my plate this year.
