Well first of all this post is late, and secondly the piece I have been stitching on is not my chosen YOTA piece, though it is a UFO so I don't feel so bad about not making progress on Elegance of the Orient.
For anyone who has missed my Elegance of the Orient progress you can see my last post on it here:

Over the last couple of weeks I have managed to make some good progress on Blossoming Spring. Last week I posted my progress on this project for the first time in almost a year *cringe* This is where I had gotten to in my last post.

I found that I was having so much fun stitching this that I continued on with it during the week and am delighted to say that it has grown.

Now that I have figured out a system for working on the blossoms I find myself rather enjoying the colour changes and wandering stitching. I have always loved blossom trees and when I saw this chart I just knew I had to stitch it.

Have you ever seem a chart of something you have always loved and knew you just HAD to stitch it? Please do let me know in the comments below.
It looks great. Love the colors.
ReplyDeleteAwesome progress on such a pretty design.

Great progress! I am curious to see if the design is just the tree or if there's more to stitch. It's beautiful either way!
ReplyDeleteIt looks beautiful! Hopefully you get a finish soon :)
ReplyDeleteLovely progress! The colors are gorgeous :D
ReplyDeleteSuch a beauty.
ReplyDeleteNo surprise I am sure, that I love poodle charts. I have had a bigger one in my stash for almost three years. With Mabel doing poorly, I am waiting no more. I am stitching it now.
Wonderful progress, it surely has grown into a lovely tree! Love the colors:)
ReplyDeleteSo pretty.Shreila Hudson created beautiful designs.
ReplyDeleteI recently discovered Ursula Michael's word designs thanks to following Justine's blog.I am hooked and not onlly am I stitching the design Justine stitched,Lets Do Coffee,I have purchased four more word designs for stitching in the future.
Beautiful stitching and tree!
ReplyDeleteYes! The first one I felt that strongly about was the Super Mario sampler by Flossy Bobbin. And I stitched it within a month. I loved that one! Beautiful progress on your tree, it's absolutely gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteThis is such a lovely delicate piece.
ReplyDeleteI am not sure if I've come across too many premade patterns that I knew I had to stitch. Maybe daffodils....but I'm very picky! I am glad there are so many freebies around that I can just fall to whatever whim hits haha.
This blossom tree is beautiful. I love dragons and two of my early pieces featured dragons even though neither were beginners designs I was determined to stitch them.
ReplyDeleteIt is living up to it's name and blossoming into a beautiful piece. Unfortunately there are way too many pieces that I have seen and wanted to stitch to list them here. It' why I have a current rotation of 59 wips :p
