Just a quick post....

I just realised that I said I would post some pictures of my Joan Elliott cross stitched ornaments once I had put the scented bags into them, so here they are:

They ended up looking and smelling amazing. I left them on my bedside table for a couple of nights before I wrapped them up for Christmas and they scented the room beautifully. I also added a hand made tag to tell people it was hand made and a little scroll with instructions on ways to refresh the scent.

I have 4 more of these to do as requested for my sister with the Maria Diaz florals. If you like I can put a tutorial on here to show how I did them. Let me know if you are interested in the comments.

If you are wondering what on earth I am talking about the original post on these is HERE.

Have a great day all :)

  6. These look fab. I love Joan Elliott designs. Do you create a separate bag with the smelly filling in and then add it or do you mix filling with stuffing and just fill the ornament :-)

  7. Loubie69 - I made the scented pouches separately and made the back so that it can be taken out and refreshed or changed. There is just the scented pouch inside them no regular stuffing.
