Well I have been having such fun lately working on Clara that I continued on with her for a while. I only had a little bit left on pages 2 & 3 to finish off so I did that and that completed the top row of pages. Now I am working on her hair on page 6 which is equal parts fun and frustrating. It can be quite confetti heavy but it lots of fun doing each piece of the hair separately.
So here she is:

My parked threads are covering some of the stitching so sorry about that but can't be helped. I am hoping to get a little more work on this done and then move onto Elegance of Orient for YOTA.
Lovely progress! Clara is coming along beautifully :)

ReplyDeleteBeautiful Clara. I'll be stitching my next Hannah this way too. Not sure which one I'll be starting though. You have such great stitching methods that you've shared with me/us. Thank goodness for you!

Beautiful stitching. Clara's eyes are lovely colours and the shades in her hat are pretty.
ReplyDeleteYour progress is amazing, I truly love the colors on Clara =)
ReplyDeleteGorgeous! It is looking good.
ReplyDeleteDoing each piece of hair individually sounds daunting to me!! It's really looking great.
ReplyDeleteI love to see Clara coming to life as you colour in the gaps. She's looking beautiful!
ReplyDeleteShe's looking great!! So close to being completed!! I'm still far behind on my HAED. I should pull it out this weekend to work on :D
ReplyDeleteShe looks amazing! You are doing far better with her than I am :) No kidding about the hair! I am regretting using 18ct Aida now as I much prefer 25ct/28ct 1x1 now!
ReplyDeleteI hope you keep going, it might spur me on a bit!
