Final Day...

Well my MMMM SAL is almost over. I didn't manage to get another finish but I did get some progress on another Christmas mini.

This is a Lickle Ted Christmas Stitch Kit which came with a magazine, don't remember which one now.

I really hope everyone enjoyed the SAL and thank you to all those who have left me such lovely comments about it. I will reply to my emails very soon I promise. If you would like to continue on with mini stitching, then please head over to Justine's Cross Stitch where the lovely Justine is continuing on as host for November.

I will be checking all the participants at the weekend and will do the draw for the voucher from all those eligible. I have had such fun this month and would love to join Justine and the others in November but I need to finish my bunnies.

Last Week of MMMM

Well I hope everyone enjoyed participating in our month of Mini's. I had lots of fun, though I do wish that I had managed more than I did. I do have another finish for you all today though:

I decided to change the colours of the moon to DMC Glow in the Dark and DMC 168 light grey. I'm really happy with the result on this one. I have started another mini and maybe, just maybe I might get it finished before Friday.

Also there was some interest by some of the participants to continue on with the SAL, however as I would only host a SAL I was able to participate in I am unable to continue this into November. I really want to get the Bunnies finished and also make some progress on Elegance. However Justine over at Justine's Cross Stitch agreed to taking up the mantle, as it were, and host it next month if there is sufficient interest. If you would like to join in on this SAL for November please head over and let her know.

October SFS

Well it's time for a Stitch from Stash update. I have another zero spend month, which I am very happy about. As it has been mini month that's been mostly what I have worked on, with a little on the bunnies at the beginning of the month.

I also realised that I hadn't given you an update on Autumn this month. There has been no progress but it was remiss of me not to post anyway, so my apologies.

MMMM Week 4

Well we are already on our 4th week of mini madness. How quickly it has gone. I am disappointed by my lack of progress but life has been busy. Anyway I did manage to start a new mini and it is as I said it would be, Haloweenie.

I'm not sure how I feel about the colous of the moon, the light yellow is too different from the darker yellow for my liking, so I may have some frogging in my future.

Mega Mini Month 3.2

I am delighted to be able to show you all my first finishes, yes that's right more than one, of MMMM.

This is the first one:

I made a few changes to this design. First I changed the Snowlady at the bottom, I changed the colours and I left out the long stitch starts as I thought it looked just right as it is now.

I then went on and started and finished another mini. This one is a Margaret Sherry freebie kit that came with Cross Stitch Crazy. I have been meaning to stitch it for a long time now and am delighted to get it done.

Mega Mini Month Madness 3.1

Hey there I actually managed some stitching, not as much as I would like but I'm happy with it. I have titled this post 3.1 because I am hoping to have a second post for you all with a finish later in the week.

Mega Mini Month Week 2

Well I haven't had nearly enough time to work on my mini's so far. I am hoping to get some progress at the rest of the weekend. I am enjoying seeing everyone's progress so please do check out how everyone is doing.

Hey everyone and welcome to a month of Mini's. Thanks so much to all those who have joined in. We have 22 stitchers, including myself, taking part. I only got around to adding the last stitcher today to the list, but they had told me of there desire to join before the deadline, but had problems submitting a link.

So I see some people have already made their first post which is great! I look forward to reading them. Please do remember to all those participating that only those who post once a week for the 5 weeks, including his one, will be eligible for the voucher draw.

This is going to hopefully be an ornament gift for someone. As I didn't have any of the colours charted and I didn't want to use plain DMC, so I changed the colours to variegated DMC and will list them when this piece is finished. So excited about our month of Mini's, good luck to everyone participating :)

Look What the Postie Brought

I recently entered a giveaway being run over at Obsessive Cross Stitcher and I won. This is what I received this morning through the letterbox.

Aren't they just gorgeous?! I love the colours and I have never stitched with silk thread so that will be a new experience for me. So thanks so much again to Nic for such a wonderful prize.

Mega Mini Month Madness Sign up

Well here it is, the sign up for my Mega Mini Month Madness. If you have no idea what I am talking about, look HERE, you can find the rules for this in the same post.

Anyway whoever is interested in joining in, please enter your details below and don't forget to be in with a chance at the voucher for an online store of your choice you MUST post once a week for each week in October. That will be 5 posts in all. Your first post can just be about what mini's you are hoping to get some stitching done on.

Also anyone who doesn't have a blog but wishes to join in can do so, just send me your progress pictures and I will post them here, the 5 post rule also applies. Please leave a comment if you are interested in participating but have no blog.

I must also put a closing date for sign ups on this one as it is running for just the one month. So the final date for sign up will be 28th Sept 2014, to give participants a couple of days to get their projects set up.

Mega Mini Month Madness

Well I mentioned my plan to do this in a previous post. I would like to get some mini projects done, especially with Christmas swiftly approaching, so I decided that for the month of October I am going to work only on mini projects and see how many I can manage.

As SAL's are ALWAYS more fun with others I am opening this for anyone to join. I know a couple of people expressed an interest so anyone who would like to join please leave a comment or email me.

There are going to be a few rules attached:
1. You must post on your mini progress once a week in the month of October. It doesn't matter what day so long as you have 5 posts by the end of the month
2. They can be any mini projects you like, no themes attached but please do keep them to mini projects, as in ornament/card sized projects
3. Those without a blog are free to join in, you can email me the pictures of your progress and I will post them on your behalf but please be aware that the 5 post rule also apply.
4. For those who join in and post their mini progress each week I will do a drawing at the start of November for a €25 voucher (or equivalent in your local currency) for an online store of your choice so long as they do e-vouchers.

I will do another post with a sign up once I have an idea of the amount of interest.
